My name is Kate Hearne,

I have been involved in showing, obedience & breeding of German Shepherd Dogs since
1985 - owning and training my first very own Gsd bitch by the time I was 15 years old.

By the age of 17 I had started working at a German Shepherd breeding & boarding kennels based in my home county of Essex .

It was whilst working in such kennels I decided that in the future I would only ever want to raise any of my own future puppies in a family home .

Two years later I took a course as a canine beautician & qualified with the London acadamy of grooming.
I then stayed on to work for a short time before returning to Essex to start my own grooming business from home.

My original German Shepherds began to age with time so it was then I decided to start my search for my ideal type of German Shepherd Dog .

After a very long time searching we eventually found The type , temperament & conformation of German Shepherds we had been looking for in the form of some well respected and excellent bloodlines .

 Over the years our family of shepherds has grown.
And now along with my daughter we have in my opinion some of the finest German shepherd Dogs around in type, temperament, character & colour.
Our German Shepherds are large in size and Long Coated .

We love and admire the German Shepherd dog regardless of whether it be short coat, longcoat, any colour, size or type -there are no bad dogs just individual preferences.

Our dogs are our well loved family pets .
we are very fortunate to have several acres of land so our dogs always have plenty of excercise and play.
We breed our dogs as a much loved hobby and sometimes may have puppies available to loving family homes from the dogs that we ourselves are fortunate enough to live with , temperament being a priority and never compromised.

All of our breeding dogs are Bva hip scored and health tested
health certificates are available to be seen on request .

We are Fully Council Licenced

Not only will you see photos of our wonderful boys and girls on this website but you will also see us actively out and about with our dogs. Rain or shine, competing at shows , trials , training events
Working and showing to our high standards .
Often we have been part of well respected dog demo teams and attended various public events held all over the Country, demonstrating the versatility of our fantastic dogs .

There is much more to our dogs than just a website - Breeding from them is a privilege .

In September 2007 I became approved by the Acadamy Of dog training & behaviour as a Instructor (Gold Level) so I can now also offer a training & behaviour service.

On The 29/3/09 I attended the Kennel Club Conformation And Movement with Hands On Seminar beld By Stephen Bardwell and I passed recieving my KC Certificate .

On 8/5/09 I also attended the animal first aid course at the College Of Animal Welfare
Where I recieved my certificate of completion.

8/11/09 I attended the seminar on fertility,breeding,mating and whelping by Angelika von Heimendahl MScAg DipECAR BVM (Berlin) MRCVS
and Genetics talk by Dr Jeff Sampson (KC Geneticist).

On 23/3/14 I completed a two year training course - passing my final practical exam to become a qualified BAGSD (British association for German shepherd Dogs) instructor.

December 2015 I passed level 1 test - (British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers) (Security Division) Accredited Dog Handler

I am also a qualified Peddymark Micro-chip implanter for all dogs-cats and puppies
and can offer a microchipping service throughout Essex and surrounding areas (fully insured).

After completing my Canine ultrasound training course on the 8th august "2012" I can competently perform canine pregnancy scans and now offer this service - contact me for more details .
